Google 2020
My Google Doodle shows the diversity of people living in Russia. I'd like people to think about how different the people of Russia are, both by appearance and cultural background, and to see this as a huge advantage.
Russia is my home country, though I've been living in France since 2010. Nevertheless, this topic made me think about what it is like to be Russian and what unites us.
I decided to think about all the people who live in Russia. I wanted to find a way to show its unity and diversity at the same time. So one of my ideas was to put together very different characters and make them dance and play music using traditional musical instruments. In other words, having fun together.

Coloured sketches
I looked at quite a lot of pictures of different musical instruments as well as traditional costumes. Not only Russian ones but also Yakuts, Tuvans, Tatars, etc. Unfortunately not all of them could make the cut to the final illustration, as the space is very limited, but I did my best.
